BOOKING AND PRICING
THE PRACTICAL STUFF.
What does a quote cost?
Nothing. Tell us what's going on, we'll come and have a look, and you'll get an honest price before any work starts. What Mike quotes is what it costs.
Do you handle urgent jobs?
Ring us. Burst pipes and cold showers don't keep office hours, and we've been known to finish a job by the light of the van. If it's urgent, we'll tell you straight when we can be there.
Is there a discount for Gold Card holders?
Yes, there is a 10% discount on labour for Gold Card holders. Just mention it when you book.
How do I pay?
However suits you: invoice and internet banking. We bring mobile Eftpos to your door, once the job has been invoiced.
What areas do you cover?

Are you Master Plumbers?
Yes. Every job is backed by the Master Plumbers Guarantee, and the work is done or overseen by qualified, certified tradespeople.
Is your gas and drainage work certified?
Yes. Gasfitting and drainlaying are restricted work in New Zealand, and ours is done and certified by qualified tradespeople, with the paperwork to prove it.
Do you do bathroom renovations?
We do, from swapping a vanity through to the full renovation alongside a builder. Tired old bathrooms are a bit of a specialty. Have a look at the plumbing page for recent examples.
Will you leave the place tidy?
Always. We've had customers tell us their driveway looked the same after we'd dug a trench through it. Tidy-up is part of the job, not an extra.
Do you photograph work I can't see?
Yes. Roof work, underfloor work, inside trenches: if you can't easily check it yourself, we photograph what we found and what we did, and share it with you.
Do you work with landlords and property managers?
We do. Straightforward booking, honest invoicing and a fix-it-once approach make rental maintenance painless for everyone.
